Projects

Teaching & Learning Platform

Develop an electronic platform (e-platform) to facilitate the evaluation of teaching and learning practices in courses with high DFWI rates, using a pre-developed QU Teaching and Learning process.

The e-platform shall help users access and upload all needed data in one central place. It shall also allow them to enter and edit their evaluation and monitor recommendations for improvement.

Online Transcripts System

Design and implement a platform that allows students to access their transcript. The application communicates with another software to import the latest data then process it in order to make it available to students.

Strategic Enrollment Management System

Design and implement a web application that aligns an institution's academic, co-curricular, and enrollment resources with its changing environment to accomplish the institution's mission. It consists of three different modules: current enrollment statistics, projection module for new students and a resource requirement module that will estimate the needs of the university for the upcoming years in terms of faculty members, classrooms, etc.

Online Assessment Management System

Maintain and develop new functionalities for the Online Assessment Management System (OAS) that supports the university learning outcome assessment process by providing features that allows defining the learning outcome assessment structure and model, planning assessment activities and recording assessment data and results. It also provides features that helps in monitoring the implementation of assessment plans and generating useful reports.

Intraweb 4

Coordinator of the international development team in charge of the Intraweb for the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE ). The Intraweb is a web Portal that allows IAESTE members from different countries to coordinate the IAESTE exchange program and allows students/employers to participate in the IAESTE exchange program.

Online Students Management System

Design and implement the subscription management portal for IAESTE Tunisia students.

Graduation Project (3rd Year of the National Engineer Degree)

Project conducted during an internship in SAP Labs. Design and implement a prototype system for the management of services with certified security properties in the context of the Advanced Security Service Certificate for SOA (ASSERT4SOA) project.

End of Year Project (2nd Year of the National Engineer Degree)

Design and Implement a High-Tech Meteorological Balloon containing several sensors, a micro controller  (STM32) and a GPS-GPRS Module to help the Tunisian National Institute of Meteorology measure air pollution.

Graduation Project (3rd Year of the University Diploma of Technology)

Communication IPs (SPI, I²C and USART) Validation Firmware Automation on both STM32 and STM8.

Internships

University of Coimbra, Portugal (2012-2013): Build the Access Privileges Layer for Web Geometry Laboratory and develop a cooperative mode that allows a group of students to work on the same construction and provide teacher management functionalities.

SAP Labs, France (2012): Design and the implement a prototype system for the management of services with certified security properties in the context of the Advanced Security Service Certificate for SOA (ASSERT4SOA) project.

"Intelligent geolocation device for dependent people", Issued Apr 19, 2011, TN2011/0186, INNORPI, Tunisia

Co-Inventors: Wafa Bouaynaya and Fadoua Jerbi

A device used by a parent to geo-locate his children. It is presented as a miniature tag in the form of a bracelet. It includes a micro-controller, a GPS / GPRS module, a display, sensors and a battery. The role of the device is to continuously send the carrier's geographic coordinates to a remote server for processing by a mobile application.
